Congratulations to our March District Member of the Month, John Plenge from the Kiwanis Club of Botetourt, VA!“John is currently serving as President of the Botetourt Club and exemplifies the definition of an effective leader. At club meetings, he exudes enthusiasm and a genuine love for Kiwanis, children and his community. He is extremely passionate about literacy and is leading the charge for the club to build partnerships with the local library as well as Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Program. The club's and John's passion for literacy translates into their support of the local schools through the dictionary program, and last October John helped distribute 320 to the third graders at Buchanan Elementary. John is always open to new ideas, is very approachable to all, and seeks synergy. Under his leadership, the club has added two new members this year and had a very successful social at Stoney Brook Winery last fall.” If you would like to nominate an outstanding Kiwanis member, please complete this form: ...
