The Capital District is responsible for education of it’s clubs and members. One of the methods used to provide education is through the facilitation of District Conferences and Conventions.

District Conventions

Each August, Capital District Kiwanis holds it’s annual convention to educate its member, elect it’s leaders, celebrate our accomplishments and promote fellowship. Convention locations rotate primarily among cities:

  • Baltimore, MD (Mason Dixon Region)
  • Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (National Capital Region)
  • Richmond, VA (Heart of Virginia Region)
  • Williamsburg, VA (Southeast Virginia Region)
  • Roanoke, VA (Southwest Virginia Region)

Midyear Conferences

Each March, Capital District Kiwanis holds it’s annual Midyear Conference to educate its member and promote fellowship.
