generation that keeps getting forgotten about. Generation x is
labeled as 1965-1980, however it goes much deeper than that. Some fit that
are older and younger. We will be looking at how the generations treat
meetings, socials, community services, and other important aspects that can

to see who is on that site more. Do you know how to do that as well? We
will have an open discussion of how to get generation X in your
club. And who doesn’t want more members in their club?

Kiwanis should know about our organization’s risk management and youth
protection policies. This session will provide an overview of what these
policies are and how they protect your club, its members, and those we serve in
our communities – especially our youth. Recent changes to some of these policies
make this session an essential refresher course for every Kiwanis club. A
portion of this workshop will be reserved to address specific questions or
situations faced by Kiwanis clubs. If you or your club needs advice, please

Topic: Expanding CLE Training for Clubs Presenter: Krista Latchaw, Capital District Education Coordinator
The Club Leadership Education (CLE) program looks different this
year due to the many challenges of our current environment. We will explain the
current education offerings for the 2020 – 2021 leadership team. Participants
will also discuss other ways the District’s CLE team is available to help you
be a successful incoming President, Secretary, Treasurer, or Membership
Committee Chair. Finally, we’ll have an interactive discussion on how this team
can expand on current educational offerings and what leaders need in the
future. We would appreciate the audience’s thoughts, feedback, and
participation during the session.
