Club Delegates
At our district convention this August, each club in good standing, shall be entitled to seat up to three (3) delegates, two (2) of whom should be the club president and president-designate. All club delegates shall be active members of the clubs they represent.
The results of this form will be used to produce Delegate Passes which will be included in the registration envelopes of club and at-large delegates.
Proposed Amendments to the Capital District Kiwanis Bylaws
Proposed Bylaws Amendment #1 – Elimination of club president pre-requisite from lieutenant governor requirements.
Proposed by the Kiwanis Club of Weirton
The Capital District Kiwanis Board of Trustees supports this amendment.
Rationale: This amendment would strike the requirement to have been a club president from the district bylaws. NOTE: The Capital District Policy Statements already contain a requirement for any member running for lieutenant governor to have previously served as a Kiwanis club officer and this requirement is not part of the Standard Form for Kiwanis District Bylaws.
Article III – Officers Section 2.
a. Each Lieutenant Governor shall be a member** of a club* in the division from which elected; shall have served as a Kiwanis club president; and shall have and maintain a satisfactory criminal history background check as provided in district policy. However, if there is no member** from a club* in a particular division qualified and willing to serve as lieutenant governor, a member** of a club* in another division may serve

Capital District Kiwanis has negotiated a rate of $139.00/night ($158.46 including tax) for sleeping rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Annapolis through August 6, 2026. To make sleeping room reservations, please click here.
Registration Information
Kiwanis Early Bird Package Registration rate of $250.00 is good through July 25, 2026 – which includes all conference materials, Friday Casino Night with Hors d’oeuvres, and all 4 ticketed general meal sessions (Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Breakfast). This package rate will increase to $275.00 after July 25th.
There is no registration fee for non-Kiwanian guests attending with a registered Kiwanis member. Couples who are both Kiwanis members must register separately.
Kiwanis members/guests who are not coming for the entire weekend can register a la carte for the sessions they would like to attend:
A la carte Registration ($60 / $80 after July 25, 2026) – This will allow attendance to all sessions other than Casino Night and the general sessions and allow the a la carte selection of meals:

District Polo Shirt
Our official Capital District polo shirt is red with the American flag on the left shoulder. The Kiwanis logo as well as the Capital District Kiwanis wordmark are embroidered on the left chest below the flag.
The shirt is available in both men’s and ladies sizes and the cost for the shirt will be $45.00 for sizes S-XL, $50 for 2XL and $55 for 3XL.
Ordering is now closed and will re-open in January 2027 before the Midyear Conference.
United States Naval Academy Walking Tour
On Friday, August 21st, 2026, we have organized a walking tour of the United States Naval Academy from 2:30-4pm. The cost is $15.00 and tickets can be purchased on your registration form. No transportation to/from the USNA (15-minutes from Doubletree) is included.
2:30pm is when the tour will begin, so you must plan to arrive USNA Visitors Center 15 minutes beforehand. Please visit the USNA site if you plan to attend for requirements.
Tours are not currently operating due to DHS Funding but are expected to resume by August.
Cancellation Information
Cancellation of sleeping room accommodations must be done by 5pm ET three days (72-hours) prior to arrival or one night’s room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file.
Cancellation of convention registration/meals must be done by August 15th in writing (by email to [email protected]). All cancellations requested will be subject to a $10 cancellation fee.
No refunds will be provided after August 15th, 2026.
