Kiwanians excel at volunteering in their communities. Every member brings a set of skills to their work, and these talents make our local service projects and fundraisers successful. Children in the community benefit from the time and energy we invest in our work. That same investment of time and energy is needed to make the Capital District run. Kiwanis thrives when members step forward and share their talents in district-level leadership roles. New ideas and programs emerge that elevate our impact as an organization, create resources for clubs, and enhance our work for children.
Did you know we haveseveral leadership roles that remain unfilled for the administrative year that begins on October 01?
We are searching for Kiwanians to fill critical leadership roles for the 2024-2025 administrative year. These positions include:
Aktion Club District Chair
Builder’s Club District Chair
K-Kids District Chair
Key Leader District Chair
These positions are vital to the success of our service leadership programs. While these positions are all typically three-year terms to encourage continuity and a long-term transition of leadership, we currently seek individuals willing to complete a one-year term with the option to extend their service.
We are also searching for Kiwanians from every one of our seven regions to serve on the following district committees for the 2024-2025 administrative year.
