2023-24 Distinguished Club Recognition

Clubs must complete 6 of the 8 items below, have at least 15 members and have no outstanding financial liability to Kiwanis International or the Capital District in order to qualify. All submissions subject to verification by Executive Director.


1. Membership– clubs must have a net increase in membership or have sponsored a Kiwanis club that chartered this year.


2. Service – Clubs must have performed a Signature Project in the 2020-21 year.


3. Service Leadership Programs – Kiwanis clubs must sponsor at least 1 Service Leadership Programs club.


4. Education – Kiwanis club president and secretary must have participated in Club Leadership Education session.


5. Conference Attendance – Kiwanis club had representation at the District Midyear Conference, Kiwanis International ELC or Capital District ELC.


6. Foundation Support – Kiwanis club donated at least $10.00 per-member to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, or a 10% increase over previous year; and at least $5.00 per-member to the Capital District Kiwanis Foundation


7. Report Submission – Kiwanis club submitted all 12 Monthly Reports and 2021-22 Club Election Report. This requirement is MANDATORY in order to be considered a Distinguished Club.

8. Youth Protection – Kiwanis club has provided all members with information on current Youth Protection Guidelines and has reported this on Secretary’s Dashboard. This requirement is MANDATORY in order to be considered a Distinguished Club.
