This year, the Capital District delegation will be dining at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse in downtown Indianapolis (117 Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204). The restaurant is located three blocks (10 minute walk) from the Indianapolis Convention Center where Kiwanis International Convention (ICON) is being held.
For those unfamiliar with Fogo de Chão, your dinner will include unlimited amounts of all of the following:
access to the Market Table & Feijoada Bar with seasonal salads, exotic vegetables, imported cheeses, smoked salmon, cured meats, Fogo feijoada (traditional black bean stew with sausage),seasonal soup, and more
Fire-roasted meats including Filet Mignon, Ribeye, Picanha, Lamb Chops, Chicken, Sausage, and more (for those who prefer fish, we can substitute Chilean Sea Bass)
Traditional Brazilian sides of warm pão de queijo (cheese bread), crispy polenta, mashed potatoes, and caramelized bananas
Choice of desserts from our full list, including favorites such as Papaya Cream, Caramel Flan, and Crème Brulée
Fountain beverages, coffee and tea
The cost for the meal will be $90 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuities) payable in advance to Capital District. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase individually and is not included in the meal price.
